Autonomni kulturni centar- ATTACK! i ove godine, po deveti put organizira Festival alternativnog kazališnog izricaja – Faki009, od 23.05. do 27.05.2006.
Festival je od svog nastanka zamisljen kao medunarodni susret umjetnika i skupina koji/e djeluju izvan institucionaliziranih komercijalnih kazališta, poticu mlade izvodace i pokazuju kvalitetan umjetnicki doseg. Ova vrlo uopcena koncepcija u praksi znaci da je FAKI festival alternativnog teatra, ulicnog teatra, performansa, off i low budget teatra.

I ove godine FAKI ce svim kulturnim aktivistima i kazalištarcima iz razlicitih zemalja dati priliku, medusobni susret, komunikaciju i prezentaciju njihova rada. Cijeli program odvijat ce se kroz radionice, izvedbe, (ne)formalne diskusije, ali i kazališne predstave.

Attack! je nestranacka, neprofitna, nevladina, volonterska udruga gradana koja stvara i širi kulturnu i politicku alternativu te alternativnu ekonomiju, osiguravajuci prostor u javnosti svima koji se žele kreativno izraziti i sudjelovati u promjenama na lokalnoj razini, koje vode slobodnom društvu.

Autonomous Culture Center – ATTACK this year for the 9th time in the row organizes FAKI festival.
Festival of alternative theatrical expression – FAKI 9, from 23 to 27 of May 2006.
FAKI is an alternative theater festival with eight years of tradition. The main idea of the festival is to gather people from different countries who are engaged with theatre activities outside commercial theatrical institutions, encourage young performers and produce quality and contemporary performances. Practically, this means that FAKI is a festival of alternative theatre, street theatre, performance and off- and low-budget theatre.
This year’s FAKI will again offer an opportunity for cultural activists and theatre people from the different countries to meet, communicate and present their work. This will be made possible through presentations, formal discussions and conversations among performers, organizers and the festival audience, as well as the actual theatre acts.
This is an invitation to all theater groups, enthusiasts, theatromaniacs & others to apply their performance, appearance, show, or other free form of appearance…

ATTACK! (Autonomni kulturni centar) is a non-profit, non-government, non-partisan, volunteers civil organization that aims at creating and spreading an alternative to the dominant culture, policy and economy. ATTACK provides space for everyone who wants to express himself or herself creatively and participate in the changes at the local level that lead to a free society.
Functional principles of the Autonomous Culture Center are: respect for different attitudes, opinions and ideas; freedom of choice; respect for life, national, gender, social and religious difference; organizational autonomy; public and democratic thinking and individual and organizational responsibility.
